Seeking a Data Scientist with extensive experience of Python used in accessing, exploring and enriching data assets
Role Description
The department is seeking to engage two Data Scientists who will collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs, apply AI and machine learning methodologies, analyse data to maximise value, develop advanced analytics and stay updated on industry trends to enhance team capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
• extensive experience of Python used in accessing, exploring and enriching data assets
• demonstrable knowledge of current Statistical, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning methodologies and design processes
• demonstrable experience of current practices in API access, Version Control (Git), and MLOps
• demonstrable knowledge of best practices in data communications and visualisations
Initial contract duration: 12 months with 2 x 12 months extension options
Location of work & working arrangements - Canberra - Hybrid Based
Security Clearance - Must have a Baseline, NV1, NV2, TSPV Security Clearance, TSPV highly desirable.
