The role supports significant business and technological changes, ensuring that all initiatives are in line with strategic objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage allocated resources, set work area priorities, manage workflows, develop strategies, and evaluate business outcomes.
- Ensure accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements, sharing expertise and mentoring less experienced employees.
- Provide clear direction and establish requirements for implementing significant changes in business functions, processes, organisational roles, and ICT service delivery.
- Monitor compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities, and technology directions by setting strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
- Maintain expertise in current ICT systems functionality, quality assurance practices, and business processes, while developing an understanding of emerging technologies.
- Collaborate and engage with internal and external stakeholders to transfer and collect information and gain consensus on concepts and business domains.
- Investigate, recommend, and implement solutions for a range of unpredictable problems, participating in the development of strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate financial, cultural, technological, organisational, and environmental factors in ICT change programmes.
- Identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches to deliver agreed outcomes.
The Successful Candidate The ideal candidate will possess the following technical skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, ideally in Computer Science or Information Technology Management.
- Experience in modelling business processes using various tools and techniques.
- Proficiency with enterprise architecture modelling tools.
