PEGA Lead System Architect
About our client:
Our client is a well known and prestigious State Government agency in charge of infrastructure and transporting solution across the state.
This agency has a high impact of change of the residents of NSW and is an opportunity to drive major digital transformation projects.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead System Architect to design and implement solutions for the migration of client concession types into a new PEGA Cloud platform. This role sits within the Strategic Initiatives business unit of a major transport organization, driving technical leadership and solution architecture for platform enhancements. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in PEGA Case Management, integration capabilities, and cloud-based deployments to address key performance, integration, and security requirements. In addition to designing scalable, reusable solutions, this position involves collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, and product owners, to ensure alignment with business needs. Candidates must possess at least ten years of experience within the PEGA ecosystem, a minimum of four years as a Lead System Architect, PCLSA certification, and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to navigate the complexities of multi-stakeholder environments.

This contract is available for an initial 6 month term with an extension of 2 x 6 months.
Located in Macquarie Park, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement. Work in office of 2 days per week.

- Design scalable and reusable solutions for migrating transport concession types to the PEGA Cloud platform.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to PEGA developers.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs while addressing performance, integration, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, and product owners, to align technical solutions with project goals.
- Lead the implementation of PEGA Case Management and integration capabilities.
- Address non-functional requirements, including performance optimization and security measures.
- Leverage knowledge of AWS services (S3, RDS, Postgres) for system architecture and integration.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies to support iterative development and project delivery.
- 10+ years of experience in the PEGA ecosystem.
- A minimum of four years of experience as a Lead System Architect.
- PEGA Certified Lead System Architect (PCLSA) certification.
- Strong proficiency in PEGA Case Management and integration capabilities.
- Experience with cloud-based PEGA deployments.
- Familiarity with the PEGA Government Platform.
- Knowledge of AWS services, including S3, RDS, and Postgres databases.
- Experience addressing non-functional requirements such as performance, integrations, and security.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
