Program Support Officer
Security clearance: NV1
Contract Length: Contract till 30 June 2025 + extensions up to 24 months
Location: Canberra
The ideal candidate for this Project Support Officer opportunity will possess the below skills and experience
• Must posses advanced Microsoft Excel skills - The role requires for the candidate to be able to use formulas when entering any financial date into the spreadsheets or preparing reports.
• be experienced (2-5 years) in the management and implementation/delivery of Australian Government programs.
• be experienced (2-5 years) in the management and implantation/delivery of grant and procurement services in an agile operational environment, with a strong understanding of the Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines (CGRGs) and Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
• be experienced (2-5 years) in managing program budgets, including monitoring and tracking budget expenditure, registration of contracts/agreements, creation of purchase orders, processing of invoices, completion of budget reporting as required.
• be self-motivated demonstrating a drive to enhance existing methods, and initiative to implement new processes.
• be team-orientated and contribute to team outputs.
• demonstrate strong written and oral communication and liaison skills.
• display high levels of high levels of professionalism with the ability foster effective working relationships.
