About the Role
As a Technical Business Analyst in the Credit Risk domain, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution and deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed business and technical analysis for credit risk-related projects in the banking sector.
- Document and formalize requirements into structured formats such as requirement specification documents, Agile epics, and user stories.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), ensuring adherence to relevant standards and quality benchmarks.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and testers to align solutions with business goals.
- Support data initiatives, including data migration, reporting, analytics, and governance activities.
- Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM) and other modern data platforms to deliver effective solutions.
- Provide leadership in managing project delivery frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, and Scaled Agile methodologies.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and capability development.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or equivalent role in IT Consulting or technology-focused environments.
- At least 1 year of experience in the Credit Risk domain within banking.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data initiatives, including data migration, reporting, analytics, and governance.
- Proficiency in SQL and query tools; experience with SAS software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
- Practical experience with project delivery frameworks, including Scaled Agile, Agile Sprints, Kanban, and Waterfall.
- Ability to plan, budget, and manage project scope, deliverables, and risks.
- Knowledge of business-critical design concepts, including performance SLAs, fault tolerance, high availability, and redundancy.
- Familiarity with containerization, virtualization, infrastructure, and networking.
- Experience in presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Industry-recognized certifications in technology or project delivery methodologies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for the development team.
- In-depth understanding of balancing quality, budget, risk, and user experience to optimize project outcomes.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving team impediments.
- Passion for mentoring and guiding junior consultants within the organization.
