About the role
The Business Management (BM) team manages the various contracts and commercial engagements across the centre. The BM team leverages commercial and financial information to support the centre’s Executive and Frame leads with financial and contractual decision support. This Technology Control Officer (TCO) role will reside within the BM team and liaise with vendors to ensure that staff and the organisation meet their obligations with the management of sensitive export-controlled equipment.

About the role
The Business Management (BM) team manages the various contracts and commercial engagements across the centre. The BM team leverages commercial and financial information to support the centre’s Executive and Frame leads with financial and contractual decision support. This Technology Control Officer (TCO) role will reside within the BM team and liaise with vendors to ensure that staff and the organisation meet their obligations with the management of sensitive export-controlled equipment.
Role Responsibilities
- Liaise with programs, projects, vendors and industry partners to ensure that staff handling controlled technology have the required clearances and delegations.
- Maintain and manage the centres database of vendors and staff specific delegations across specific products.
- Update, maintain and manage the centres Technology Control Plan (TCP) in line with Defence Export Control guidance, and in accordance with LNIC EMS.
- managing key policy and/or planning documentation at the organisational level, including support for its pragmatic, tailored implementation to realise a tangible benefit to workflow.
- Experience with developing and providing status accounting reports for the executive level, including identifying gaps, issues and risks as they arise.
- Familiarity with other contemporary enterprise knowledge management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with managing key policy and/or planning documentation at the organisational level, including support for its pragmatic, tailored implementation to realise a tangible benefit to workflow.
