About the role: As a UI Lead, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of innovative solutions within a high-stakes banking environment. Your role involves engaging with business stakeholders to finalize requirements, overseeing development processes, and mentoring junior team members to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise in UI design and development will be pivotal in creating seamless user experiences.

Your expertise in UI design and development will be pivotal in creating seamless user experiences.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with tech leads and business stakeholders for requirement gathering, reviews, and signoffs.
- Leading requirement discussions and finalizing functional specifications and interface documents.
- Liaising with offshore teams and SMEs to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conducting meetings with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
- Supporting and collaborating with consultants in workshops and delivery engagements.
- Mentoring junior consultants in best practices and delivery engagements.
- A strong development background and experience leading small teams.
- Expertise in full lifecycle application design and development using JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Node.js, Python).
- Proficiency in microservices architecture and test-driven development.
- A proactive approach to addressing software issues related to code quality, security, and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide developers, fostering adherence to quality and best practices.
- Advanced knowledge in JavaScript application development frameworks, including React.js, Node.js, and Python.
- Prior experience in banking projects.
