The Role:
As the Cyber Engagement section’s body of work increases, we are seeking an eager Cyber Technical Analysts to join our high-performing and fast paced ICT cyber security team to work within our Digital Service Division Infrastructure space.
The applicant must have knowledge and experience in:
1. At least 5 years’ experience in a technical cyber advisory role within government.
2. Must hold a current NV1 Clearance
3. Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services, in particular around technical assessments.
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in Canberra. 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month contract extension options. WFH 1/2 days will be considered
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A NV1 security clearance is required for this role.

- Writing and presenting security documentation to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Providing technical and non-technical advice to departmental programs in relation to security architecture best practices.
- Experience in reviewing and providing cyber guidance on application, infrastructure and system integration designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight.
- Raising awareness of security issues with technical and non-technical departmental staff.
- Implementing Essential Eight in other Government agencies which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
- 5 years cyber technical advisory roles within government.
