Currently seeking experienced Data Integration and Analytics Engineers to work within a secure environment in Canberra, ACT.
The day to day for the successful candidate will include managing, transforming and operationalising data to meet the specific analytics requirements of end users. This includes the development and sustainment of data transformations that map domain specific datasets to the enterprise ontology using Palantir platforms including Gotham and Foundry. They also develop and support end-to-end data management processes, using appropriate tools and techniques that conform to agreed process standards and industry specific regulations. This involves sharing outcomes and experience with others to support development and growth in a diverse team environment.
Skills and Experience:
Location: This role is required to be performed in Canberra, ACT.
Contract Terms: 12 months initial contract. 2x 12 month extensions available.
Security Requirements: All Candidates are required to hold a Current Active TSPV clearance (or one that has been downgraded in the past 12 months). Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
SFIA Level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 3, 4 or 5 in the DTAN/DENG category.

Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant data integration/analytics engineering experience.
- A deep understanding of systems integration and architecture including integration patterns, middleware and platforms.
- Proficiency in a number of programming and scripting languages including SQL, Python and Java.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to apply logical reasoning to overcome integration challenges.
- Effective data management and workflow design abilities including the understanding of data structures, databases and ETL processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skill including a proven ability to work effectively as a member of cross-functional teams.
