About the role:
As a Design Lead, you will join our design practice in Perth and work embedded within one of our clients in a squad doing design delivery. You will lead and coach designers, produce work yourself, and create end-to-end experiences that span physical and digital interactions. You will conduct user research, usability testing, and ensure accessibility standards are met. Your role includes creating wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs, as well as maintaining design systems and ensuring consistency across products.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end UX design processes, from research and ideation to wireframing, prototyping, and final implementation
- Developing and advocating for user-centered design principles and best practices
- Creating and maintaining design systems and ensuring consistency across products
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior designers
- 6+ years working in UX/UI Design or organizational design departments, with at least 2+ years in a design leadership role
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
- Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles
- Strong project management skills and experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to present complex ideas clearly
