The Role:
An experienced program master scheduler is required to support the implementation of an integrated delivery schedule that is aligned with the Departments corporate scheduling practices.
- Support the development and maintenance of the integrated program schedule and project schedules including dependencies and constraints.
- Support the monitoring and control of program and project schedules, tracking progress, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, proposing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather schedule-related information and ensure alignment.
- Prepare schedule reports and presentations, communicating schedule status and performance to various audiences.
- Mentor and build capability in Department staff regarding integrated program and project schedules, actively facilitating knowledge transfer.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in program scheduling, specifically in complex structures
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organised, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to mentor and train others.
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT. Contract till 30 June 2025 with 2 6-month contract extension options
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A baseline security clearance is required for this role.
