Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer/Technician to join their team in Williamtown, NSW. The requirement for an experienced Network Technician is to support the client in the timely and effective capability decisions and focus on ICT training, governance, operational support, and capability development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement enhancements and correct bugs within the existing product
- Work as part of a team to deliver work against a schedule
- Work within a complex environment with many key stakeholders
- Produce various technical and non-technical documentation in support of development and testing efforts
- Work within the technical governance frameworks, specifically with a focus on ICT and cyber security such as the Information Security Manual (ISM)
- Ability to communicate complex technical and operational subjects to team leads
- Perform code reviews
Network Technician experience including but not limited to the following:
- Networking and cyberspace,
- Routing and switching essentials,
- Server administration and configuration,
- Defence technical regulatory awareness,
- Cryptographic security,
- Radio frequency fundamentals,
- Network information assurance and configuration management,
- Basic electronics and Satellite systems
- Network Technician background with National Qualifications including but not limited to:
- Cisco Certified Networking Academy (CCNA) &,
- Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC)
Location and Contract Term
- Williamtown, NSW 2314
- Contract until 30th of June 2024
