Program Manager
Security Clearance: NV1
Contract duration: Contract to 30 June 2025 + 2x 12month extensions
Location: ACT

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:
• Liaising with ICT operational, relevant business areas and other project areas for the controlled progression of projects through Departmental environments, including detailed planning and management of the major release deployment including over weekends where appropriate.
• Undertaking high-level stakeholder consultations including cross agency clients/customers.
• Managing Program budgets and preparing Program financial forecasts.
• Managing Program schedules.
• Providing strategic guidance, leadership to team members including developing, coaching and mentoring junior or less experienced staff to ensure appropriate skills transfer.
• Providing strategic planning, mapping and modelling development.
• Managing project activities across highly complex ICT projects using established project management methodologies.
• Developing project documentation to a high standard as specified by the Department’s methodology within identified timeframes.
• Preparing and maintaining the project schedule.
• Managing project risks and issues and escalating as appropriate.
• Preparing progress reports.
