About the role: We are seeking an experienced SAP Procurement Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for delivering innovative business solutions through design, build, and test, including systems integration. You will leverage your subject matter expertise and experience to ensure successful project delivery and client success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver innovative business solutions through design, build, and test, including systems integration.
- Participate in new and existing implementations, developed with the latest technology and tools.
- Conduct FITGAP analysis and lead workshops with Business and Process Architects.
- Write detailed Business Process Design and Functional Specification documentation.
- Customize SAP Procurement/Ariba Solution and understand core data structures and data flows.
- Drive resolution of defects and issues by understanding client needs and presenting options to resolve problems.
- Identify, develop, and implement solutions to gaps to meet business needs.
- Engage in strong presentation, client relationship, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Deliver high-profile activities to tight timescales.
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment and take on challenges in new areas at new clients.
- Expand your network in the SAP community and build successful client relationships.
- SAP Procurement (MUST): Extensive demonstrable SAP experience (>12-15 years) including at least 5-7 SAP full end-to-end project lifecycle implementations and min x1 S/4HANA implementation.
- SAP S/4HANA Procurement (MUST): Strong knowledge in SAP S/4HANA Procurement (MM module - Requisition, PO, Contracts, RFQ), External Services (SES), Inventory, Master Data processes) and Ariba.
- Integration Expertise: General knowledge of other SAP modules (Integration with SCM (EWM, IM, Material Master) and EAM).
- Documentation: Ability to write detailed Business Process Design and Functional Specification documentation.
- Customization: Customization experience of SAP Procurement/Ariba Solution and understanding of core data structures and data flows.
- Strong problem-solving skills to drive resolution of defects and issues by understanding client needs and presenting options to resolve the problem.
- Ability to identify, develop, and implement solutions to gaps to meet the needs of the business.
- Strong presentation, client relationship, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to deliver high-profile activities to tight timescales.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to take on challenges in new areas at new clients.
- A drive to expand your network in the SAP community.
- Ambition, excellent leadership skills, and a talent for building successful client relationships will be highly valued.
- Be an Australian citizen.
- Hold an AGSVA Baseline security clearance.
