Scrum Master
About the role:
Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, creating and executing test cases for specific requirements. Liaising with developers and business analysts to gather deep technical analysis, functional and business requirements for testing. Test Engineer will also be responsible for analyzing the test results and defect management. Proactive approach in prioritizing the task and collaborating with other team members effectively. Works seamlessly under limited direction.
Mandatory Requirement:
Government Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain baseline government or NV-1 clearance.
Citizenship Requirement: Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this role.
Experience as Scrum Master: At least 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in agile development teams.

Mandatory Requirement:
- Expertise in JIRA: Extensive experience using JIRA for task tracking, backlog management, and project reporting.
- Strong Knowledge of Agile Methodologies: In-depth understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks.
- Facilitation Skills: Strong ability to lead and facilitate agile ceremonies, team meetings, and ensure smooth collaboration between all team members.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate issues and proactively remove impediments that could impact the team's delivery.
- Agile Metrics: Experience in tracking team metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and using them for continuous improvement.
The successful candidate:
- As an Agile Scrum Master, you will lead and manage the delivery of software development projects following agile principles. You will guide and support the development team, ensuring effective collaboration, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement. Your role will involve using tools such as JIRA to track progress, manage backlogs, and ensure transparency across all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure the team stays aligned with agile principles.
- JIRA Management: Use JIRA to manage the product backlog, track project progress, assign tasks, and generate reports for the team and stakeholders.
- Support the Development Team: Act as a servant-leader to the development team, remove impediments and ensuring they have everything they need to meet sprint goals.
- Sprint Planning & Backlog Refinement: Work closely with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog and help prioritise tasks, ensuring that the development team works on the most valuable features.
- Promote Agile Practices: Mentor and coach, the team on agile principles and Scrum methodologies, helping them continuously improve their workflow.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that the project remains aligned with organisational goals and timelines.
- Track Team Performance: Monitor the team's speed and performance using JIRA metrics, facilitating continuous improvement and helping the team achieve sprint objectives.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration, ensuring that team members work cohesively to deliver high-quality solutions.
