The Security Analyst (holding current NV1 or NV2) will assess land mission systems for service in the Current and Objectives Forces for certification and accreditation. Ensure land mission systems delivered under the Integrated Investment Program (IIP) remain accredited.

It is highly desirable that Security Analysts have the following experience and qualifications to undertake this task:
Location of work: Canberra, ACT
Length of contract: April 2025 – June 2026, extension options available upon business funds availability (2x12 mths).
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of this role, you must be an Australian citizen and hold current NV1 or higher security clearance.

About the role:
- Conduct Pre-Certification activities, inclusive of producing technical and system-level security documentation.
- Activities to be undertaken IAW Defence ICT Certification and Accreditation Framework, and relevant Government policy including the Information Security Manual (ISM).
- Engage with staff to develop project or capability-specific security accreditation documentation, including the preparation for submission for endorsement and approval.
- Develop, support and maintain CT-A frameworks, processes and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Attend workshops and actively participate to provide robust ICT security advice within information security and technical accreditation discussions.
The successful candidate:
- Understanding and experience with Australian Government certification and accreditation processes.
- Understanding of Department of Defence applicable information security policy, including the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Information Security Manual (ISM) and Defence Security Policy Framework (DSPF).
- Knowledge of ICT Information Security or ICT Security Architecture.
- Knowledge of service delivery frameworks, including ITIL.
It is highly desirable that Security Analysts have the following experience and qualifications to undertake this task:
- Hold relevant industry information systems security certifications, in line with IRAP category A or B details
- Understanding of Defence Project capability Lifecycle
