Our private client has a requirement for a Security GRC Consultant who will identify and document controls and identify security risks across cutting-edge projects for national security clients, helping to drive the development of artefacts resulting in the security accreditation of systems and applications. You will work independently on the development and delivery of artefacts and documentation.
Skills and Knowledge:
1. Deep understanding of PSPF, ISM, and associated policies and guidance.
2. Development of security accreditation and authorisation documentation in accordance with ISM processes.
3. Assessment of security risk in the national security context across varied and disparate systems encompassing cloud, on-premises, and application-based systems and platforms.
4. Familiarisation with IRAP processes and methodologies.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate with technical staff to assist with developing solutions to security issues.
2. Develop security documentation to inform the accreditation process in accordance with client and ISM requirements.
3. Assessing cyber security risks and assisting with designing and implementing solutions to provide effective security controls in client ICT environments.
Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT.
Contract terms: 12 months + potential extensions
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
