About the Role
Whizdom Canberra is seeking an experienced recruitment consultant to join our high-performing team to manage the full recruitment process, specifically supporting clients in the National Security domain.

We are ideally seeking an experienced recruiter with a proven track record in managing the full recruitment process in the IT sector. This position services National Security focussed accounts so previous experience in this domain would be highly advantageous.

- Building relationships and business leads with assigned clients and contractors
- Utilising various networks, strategies and sourcing platforms to engage candidates
- Assessing, screening applicants and preparing responses for submission to clients
- Facilitating the interview and negotiating process
- Providing advice and mentorship to candidates and contractors throughout and beyond the recruitment process.
- Actively building your network and knowledge within the IT sector
We are ideally seeking an experienced recruiter with a proven track record in managing the full recruitment process in the IT sector. This position services National Security focussed accounts so previous experience in this domain would be highly advantageous.
Some of the key attributes we are looking for are:
- A keen sense of customer service with a “can do” attitude.
- First rate time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload to reach optimal outcomes
- Excellentcommunication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in producing quality work.
- Experience using recruitment and other platforms to source and manage candidate pipelines. Proficiency with the MS Office Suit
- Proven track record in successful placements and ongoing support of contractors
- The drive and ability to work with a collaborative approach to achieving results
- Willingness to visit contractors and clients where required
