The Role:
The Department is looking to extend and redefine its use of SharePoint to deliver on business and user needs. Much of the department’s digital collaboration and document management is delivered via a SharePoint Online (SPO) tenancy.
Key duties and responsibilities
This role would be focused on providing technical expertise with SPO architecture, configuration, and feature customisation. We need a technical expert able to collaborate effectively with intranet experts, content authors,
corporate communications, and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as needed
Essential Criteria:
1. Outline your experience as a SharePoint Developer, specifically what technologies you have used to develop and deliver web applications. Including, but not limited to the following: • Modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks, especially React. • Web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and frameworks such as Bootstrap. • Cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Outline your experience as a SharePoint Developer, specifically what technologies you have used to develop and deliver solutions utilizing Microsoft 365 technologies. Including, but not limited to the Graph API. Tell us about a professional contribution you have made to a product, service, team or organisation of which you are proud.
Desirable criteria
1. Experience with the M365 product stack. Including: • Power Platform • Dynamics 365 • Function Apps
2. Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes. In particular: • Yaml pipelines
3. Experience with the PnP toolset. Including: • PnPjs • PnP Powershell
4. Experience with Fluent UI framework
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC or WA. 6 month contract with 2 x 3-month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain is required.
