About the role:
The Storage Systems Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing expert technical consulting services in the area of storage systems. This role involves developing and documenting server implementation solutions using technologies that meet customer business requirements. The specialist will have hands-on experience in virtualization technologies, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation products.

This contract is available for up to 220 days (12-month term) with high likelihood of extensions. The preferred work location is Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document server implementation solutions using technologies that meet customer business requirements.
- Provide hands-on experience in Virtualization Technologies (IBM PowerVM, KVM, RedHat Virtualization (RHV)).
- Implement and manage Containers, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift technologies.
- Utilize infrastructure automation products such as Ansible.
- Implement IBM Power Servers, VIOS, and LPARs.
To ensure success in the role, you will possess the following skills:
Technical Skills:
- Infrastructure solution architect experience.
- Hands-on experience in Virtualization Technologies (IBM PowerVM, KVM, RedHat Virtualization (RHV)).
- Hands-on experience in Containers, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift technologies.
- Experience working with infrastructure automation products such as Ansible.
- Hands-on experience in implementing IBM Power Servers, VIOS, and LPARs.
- Minimum NV1 Clearance.
- Over 10 years of experience.
- MUST BE AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN
- As defined in the services requirement above.
