About the Role
As a BASE24 Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading development and compliance initiatives for the BASE24 Classic platform. Your expertise will ensure seamless project execution, compliance with scheme mandates, and high-quality deliverables for our client who is a Big 4 Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and enhancement of the BASE24 Classic platform, including BASE24-pos and BASE24-atm.
- Implement and maintain scheme compliance mandates (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Eftpos, Union Pay International) by retrofitting fixes and updates.
- Utilize Tandem system tools such as TACL, Enform, EMSPERUS, Spoolcom, and Batchcom for platform management.
- Manage and update BASE24 configurations, including adding or modifying fields in requester and server programs.
- Collaborate with teams on transaction and card verification technologies such as EMV, tokenization, virtual cards, 3D Secure (1.0 and 2.0), and PIN/CVV verification.
- Support productivity and change management processes using tools like ServiceNow, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Work with hardware security modules (e.g., Safenet, Thales) and ensure seamless integration of BASE24 Classic modules, including device handlers, interfaces, and authorization modules.
- Maintain expertise in communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, ICE-XS).
- 10+ years of hands-on development experience with the BASE24 Classic platform.
- Proven expertise in TAL and Screen Cobol development with adherence to ACI coding standards.
- Familiarity with scheme compliance mandates and interface modules, including VISA POS, MasterCard BNET, and Union Pay International.
- Experience with Tandem system utilities and hardware security modules.
- Background in banking or financial services.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related Engineering fields.
- Industry-recognized certifications in technology or project management.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills to guide teams and manage complex technical projects.
- Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools such as CAIL, OutsideView, and MRWIN 6530.
