Seeking a Business Analyst with experience in digital transformation implementing cloud-based solutions
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic including taking ownership and initiative, providing professional expertise, and a high level of productivity. You must have suitable qualifications or training in business analysis techniques and a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a business analyst. This position will report to the lead BA, the project manager or director as appropriate.
Essential criteria
Estimated start date - Friday, 20 September 2024
Initial contract duration - 12 months with 2 x 12 months extension
Location of work and working arrangements - ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA, Offsite. The successful candidate will be offered flexible working conditions based on location and requirements to attend office at certain times.
Security clearance - Australian Citizen - Must be able to obtain Baseline

Essential criteria
- Provide a summary of your work experience as a business analyst specifically: a. your experience in digital transformation or product/service implementation b. your knowledge and application of various techniques and methodologies c. your experience in designing, leading, and/or facilitating various workshops or knowledge-sharing activities.
- Describe your experience in producing high quality, concise, easy to read and relevant analysis, design, technical specifications, or user research documentation. What kinds of documentation or artefacts have you created and how were they received by your stakeholders?
- Describe your experience/s in one or more of the following areas: a. Data analysis and architecture. b. Application & Database Decommissioning. c. End User Computing transformation and strategy development. d. Managed Operating Environment requirements. e. Application & data migration (cloud, COTS, on-prem, D365). f. Identity Management. g. Service Management.
- Experience working in a Commonwealth Government context.
- Experience in guiding projects on the adoption of the Australian Government’s Digital Service Standard and the principles behind human-centred design.
