Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst
About the role:
The Business Intelligence Analyst role is required to work with a team of data analysts, Data Engineers, system and policy subject matter experts to document current processes, analyse and define business pain points and develop optimised future business requirements.
In line with the documented requirements, the Analyst will interrogate existing business intelligence assets to determine to what extent the business requirements can be fully achieved, making improvements to the assets accordingly where possible.
The Analyst will work closely with a Data Engineer and will identify and articulate any fundamental intelligence gaps that must be addressed.
Key responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate:
• Deliver weekly executive progress reports throughout the duration of the project.
• Current and varied experience across public and private sector is highly desirable.

Located in Brisbane, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.

- Engage and consult with business stakeholders to define the problem and business requirements, functional and technical requirements, business change impacts.
- Proactively manage, prioritise and document business requirements and requirements traceability.
- Business intelligence and business and data analysis.
- Proficiency in data hub tool Snowflake and Tableau (must have skill in both platforms)
- Creating and refining business intelligence dashboards in Tableau.
- Plan and document the business and stakeholder analysis approach and activities, business intelligence approach and activities, business requirements and problem statement.
- Deliver weekly executive progress reports throughout the duration of the project.
