Our Federal client focused on National Security is seeking 2 Cloud Automation Specialists to deliver scalable and secure cloud automation solutions that support their resiliency goals and objectives for its capabilities. The role involves working with customers to design cost-effective, secure, and resilient cloud-based solutions. Additionally, the successful candidates will identify opportunities to consolidate, simplify, streamline, and continually improve cloud-based or cloud-utilizing internal and customer capabilities.

Additionally, the successful candidates will identify opportunities to consolidate, simplify, streamline, and continually improve cloud-based or cloud-utilizing internal and customer capabilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive and lead the selection and integration of automation tools, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Design, implement, and optimize automation workflows to streamline operational processes and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions that improve productivity and reduce manual effort.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on automation strategies, tools, and best practices to team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure smooth operations and rapid incident resolution.
- Drive automation initiatives that align with industry and emerging technologies for innovation and service improvement.
- Design and implement policies to meet corporate and technology boundaries.
- Identify and advise the Design Authority on technical risks and mitigations.
The ideal candidates will possess the following skills:
- Experience in Bicep/ARM with Azure DevOps (version control, pipelines, work items).
- Strong leadership experience and skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience managing complex projects.
- Extensive experience in the design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of Azure Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps tools, methodologies, best practices, and technologies (Azure Bicep/ARM, version control, pipelines, and work items).
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting to automate tasks, manage users, and configure Azure services.
- Proactive approach to identifying and troubleshooting issues.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
