About the role:
We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join the team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of SAP applications. As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of clients SAP systems by creating custom programs, enhancing existing functionalities, and troubleshooting technical issues. Your expertise in ABAP programming and understanding of SAP modules will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions that meet clients business requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
In this role, you will collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF). Additionally, you will ensure that all developments adhere to SAP best practices and organisational standards.
The successful candidate:
SAP ABAP Developer – experience with Financial services and insurance, specialist in Policy Management.

Desired Attributes and Skills:
- Industry experience in Banking, Financial services, and Insurance sector
- More than 10 years’ experience Design, Build, Configuration & Release Management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a strong understanding of SAP modules.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming and ALV reporting.
- Experience with RICEF development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Familiarity with SAP CRM, SAP ECC, SAP FS-CD Payments, SAP BoBJ, SAP Identity Management, SAP FS-PQM (Product and Policy) is a desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Develop and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs and solutions.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Create technical specifications based on functional requirements.
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing for developed solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP systems.
- Enhance existing SAP functionalities to meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and team members.
