We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Assessor/ Auditor who will be required to represent projects being delivered by the Project Office for the continuous accreditation of systems. They will need to conduct risk assessments and provide security advice and guidance on the application and operation of physical, procedural and technical security controls to support the longer-term business objectives and minimise the risk of internal and external security threats.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain security documentation for ICT solutions being delivered by the project office in accordance with the ISM and Guidelines. · Update corporate information security documentation to reflect changes introduced by ICT solutions being delivered by the project office. · Conduct security risk assessments and provide advice and guidance on the application and operation of physical, procedural and technical security controls to support the longer-term business objectives and minimise the risk of internal and external security threats. · Interpret security policy and contribute to the development of the Department’s standards, guidelines and frameworks. · Assist project staff in designing and advising on the ICT security aspects of solutions that provide appropriate levels of resiliency, availability, reliability, and performance for critical corporate capabilities. · Foster and sustain relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to the Department. Liaise across multi-disciplinary teams to effectively provision technical security advice across projects and solutions.
Location: Canberra, Sydney & Melbourne
Contract term: 12 Months
Extension: 1X12 Months
Security Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen with Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Security Clearance.
