Seeking a Project Manager with extensive experience in senior stakeholder engagement.
The department requires an EL1 level experienced project / program manager to establish and negotiate agreements and design and embed referral processes to support the project with enforcement and compliance. Initially, the officer will be required to liaise with internal stakeholders to seek endorsement for MoU templates, establish and evolve information sharing, referral processes and reporting capability to support delivery of the projects enforcement and compliance, however as the governance and performance team is expanded this role will be to build capability within the team and work towards transfer of skills to ongoing APS employees.
The work will involve engagement with relevant internal and external stakeholders through meetings, workshops and/or other suitable formats, to deliver the MoU, information sharing, referral processes and collaborative operations governance against the Project intent.
The contractor will work in collaboration with the team and departments stakeholders..
There are no reports to this role. It is expected that the contractor is capable of working independently, with minimal supervision and direction required.
Requirements
Seeks an EL1 equivalent experienced project / program management professional with the following attributes and experience to conduct the program:
Security Required: Must have a NV1 security clearance
Location - Canberra Based

- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills are crucial.
- Strategic thinking and identification of opportunities, challenges and risks as they relate to the work and its intended outcomes.
- Strong focus on achieving results and meeting project objectives within the specified timelines. Able to work autonomously and proactively to drive the project forward and deliver the desired outcomes.
- Ability and willingness to develop individual and team capability.
