Seeking a Data Intelligence Analyst with regulatory experience.
Data Intelligence Analyst - responsible for supporting the collection, analysis, and interpreting of data to assist inform decisions, and inform. The Data Intelligence Analyst will require a mix of technical, analytical, and business acumen to leverage data for strategic insights and actionable outcomes.
Key Skills
• Collaborate with regulatory staff, executive leadership, stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure alignment with technical requirements and program goals.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI) and programming languages. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and machine learning techniques would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences, including regulatory bodies and senior leadership.
• Knowledge of relevant data governance and privacy regulations that support compliance.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Data Collection and Management – support the development of system requirements that enables the collection, curation and management of structured and unstructured data from multiple databases. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency for systems.
- Data Analysis and Reporting – use analytic tools (e.g., PowerBI) to explore and analyse data trends, patterns and identify anomalies. Support the definition of system requirements for reports dashboards and visualisations that communicate insights to regulatory staff, executive and stakeholders. Assist the development of predictive and prescriptive analytics to forecast trends, and to support decision-making and policy development. Prepare executive reports and presentations as required. Communicate findings clearly to executive and stakeholders.
- Business Intelligence – develop and implement business intelligence strategies that align with the legislation that supports assurance. Develop performance metrics, reports and insights that drive compliance and performance. Assist drive continuous improvement in data collation and curation that supports policy and implementation reform.
- Data Modelling and Statistical Analysis – develop and apply models and algorithms to identify trends that supports assurance and controlling risks.
- Data Quality Assurance – assist the development of Data Quality Assurance Strategy and processes that support the regulator in ensuring compliance. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify discrepancies and work with regulatory staff to develop processes that investigate and resolve issues.
- Collaborate and continuously improve – build trust and confidence in our regulatory framework. Work closely with industry and IT to ensure systems are developed for integrated and efficient data processing and retrieval. Keep updated on trends, technologies and best practices in data analysis, and artificial and business intelligence.
