Whizdom are looking for TSPV cleared Data Scientists to apply advanced analytics techniques and scientific principles to extract valuable information from data for business decision-making, strategic planning and other uses.

Location: This role is a Canberra, ACT
Contract terms: 12 month contract. 1x 12 month extension.
Security Requirements: Candidates must be an Australian Citizens with an active TSPV Clearance. ASD will not sponsor candidates to upgrade their clearance. Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification, and any other client requested checks.

Major Responsibilities
- Provide SME advice to stakeholders in order to maximise the value of data sets, and develop innovated ways to improve analytical processes, tools and techniques
- Develop and Implement technical solutions to help identify new trends or insights within data
- Support data acquisition, engineering, modelling and automation activities
Technical Skills
- At least 5 years' experience working in roles relating to data science, data engineering and /or data analysis
- Demonstrable experience using graph databases to support analytical outcomes
- Experience developing processes and solutions to analyse and correlate disparate / remote data sets
- Experience with automation and scripting the collection, enrichment, analysis and presentation of data to address requirements
