The Role:
Database Engineers are responsible for scoping, sourcing, and optimizing database environments for analysis. They employ innovative analysis techniques, model results and scenarios, all while maintaining system integrity. With expertise in system databases, data elements, application software, and other tool sets, Database Engineers develop enterprise data solutions. They leverage their extensive experience and advanced proficiency in various contemporary ICT systems, servers,coding languages, and databases.
Skills and Experience Required:
• 5+ years of experience with RHEL on Openshift VMware technologies.
• 3+ years experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-code.
• 2 years experience in Design, deploy, and maintain PostgreSQL deployments through Ansible CI/CD pipelines on RHEL OpenShift and VMware environments.
• Experience in optimizing PostgreSQL database integration and performance
• Experience in PostgreSQL database security.
Location and Term: This role is Canberra based. 6 month contact.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A NV1security clearance is required for this role.
