Overview
Our large Government client is seeking experienced ICT Product and Solution Advisors (in either Adelaide or Melbourne) with specific skills and background in one or more specialist ICT domains and technologies including Networking, Virtualisation, Software Development, CI/CD and Containerisation.
Solution advisors are responsible for undertaking researcher requirements analysis and mapping these to standard deliverable components or services to create bespoke capabilities, tailored to individual research endeavours. Working with business analysts, architects and project or delivery managers, the solution advisors are responsible for ensuring delivered outcomes are both fit-for-purpose and consistent with security and endorsed domain architecture strategies and principles.
A strong understanding on cyber security is required, in addition to knowledge of both the Private and Public Cloud domain environments.

Location and Contract Term
The role is based in Edinburgh (SA) or Fisherman’s Bend (VIC), with a contract term of 10 months from 1 September 2024 to 30 June 2025 with 2x12 month extension options, expiring 30 June 2027.
Security Requirements
To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold NV2 security clearance (possibly open to NV1, but will require uplift to NV2).

- Experience in gathering and translation of service definitions into technical requirements applicable to research and development activities
- Highly developed internal and external partner and relationship management skills
- Experience in security and capability system implementations within cloud tenants and environments, both public and private
- Experience in virtual machine blueprints, automated provisioning and CI/CD Pipelines, ideally within Continuous Authority to Operate (CATO) environments
