Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Operations Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong background in IT operations, both on-premises and cloud-based, with a focus on Azure and FinOps to drive cost optimization and efficiency.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Proven IT Operations background – both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
- Expertise in Azure cloud services operations.
- Proficiency in FinOps (Cloud Financial Management).
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Knowledge of Service Integration and Management (SIAM).
- Demonstrated ability in digital transformation and migrations to the cloud.
- Cloud-based service management experience.
- Strong process improvement skills.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Advanced document development skills in PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 and/or PowerApps.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Copilot product ecosystem and AI concepts.
- Understanding of Agile & DevOps practices.
- Experience in project and change management.
- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms like AWS and/or GCP.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ITIL, COBIT, NIST, ISO27001/20000/38500.
- Ability to design and host interactive workshops.
- Documenting results and integrating them into delivery material.
- Strong business analysis skills to understand and document processes.
- Critical thinking and ability to create new processes based on best practices.
