One of our large Federal Government clients is looking for an experienced Windows Engineer (backfill) to join their team in Canberra.

This role is based in Canberra, contract until 18/10/25 with possible extension available.
Security Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.

Major Responsibilities
- Develop and operate a windows server platform including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, remote desktop services and WSUS
- Design, test and deploy new versions of the Windows operating system, build and maintain system images and provide integration for VMware
- Integrate and support management and security software and configurations
- Provide server automation
- Integrate with MFA solutions
- Implement regular checks to confirm system status, including hardware and software
- Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows issues
- Manage server migration when required
- As required, undertake any other tasks as requested by the Technical team
