About the role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agile Project Delivery Scrum Master.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing obstacles for Agile teams, and ensuring the successful execution of our Agile methodology.
- Defines, documents and carries out small projects or sub-projects alone or with a small team, actively participating in all phases. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project.
- Applies appropriate project management methods and tools whether predictive (plan driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
- Agrees project approach with stakeholders, and prepares realistic plans (including quality, risk and communications plans) and tracks activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
- Monitors costs, timescales and resources used and acts where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
- Ensures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are recorded.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove obstacles for Agile teams and provide support as needed.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to understand project requirements, develop solutions, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide regular project delivery reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Identify and address project delivery gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain Agile team documentation, including process flows, data models, and technical specifications.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Agile project delivery.
- Proven experience in Agile project delivery and Scrum Master roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering
