About the role:
We are seeking two experienced Mainframe Security Engineers to join a significant security project within a Commercial Account. This role requires expertise in multi-factor authentication (MFA), zSCC (Security Server Communications Controller), and mainframe security design, deployment, and handover training.
The engineers will play a pivotal role in ensuring secure access and authentication measures are deployed effectively across mainframe infrastructure, thereby safeguarding critical financial and organizational data.

Located in Sydney, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement but preferred onsite.

The engineers will play a pivotal role in ensuring secure access and authentication measures are deployed effectively across mainframe infrastructure, thereby safeguarding critical financial and organizational data.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and configuration of mainframe security components, including MFA and zSCC.
- Deployment of security measures to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Conducting handover training to client staff to ensure knowledge transfer and ongoing system management.
- Creation and maintenance of detailed documentation related to security configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Minimum baseline security clearance.
- At least five years of relevant experience in mainframe security engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of mainframe systems and security protocols.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues.
- Strong communication skills to deliver training and liaise with stakeholders.
- Expertise in mainframe security design and implementation.
- Familiarity with MFA, zSCC, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in documentation and process improvement.
