The services required will enable the agency to supplement its existing ICT and digital workforce to ensure a high quality of technology and digital development for the Buyer with the flexibility to ramp resourcing up and down as needs require. Engaging a flexible ICT workforce will enable the Buyer to augment its requirements for the major work programs being undertaken
The Role:
Project Managers plan and manage the delivery of projects.
The ICT Asset and Contract Lifecycle Manager supports, manages and administers contracts for software and application services and products across the agency.
The ICT Asset and Contract Lifecycle Manager will manage the full lifecycle of ICT software assets. They will implement asset management processes, ensure compliance with policies, optimize asset use, and minimize costs.
Key duties and responsibilities
Key duties may include some or all of the following:
• Develop and maintain ICT software asset management policies and procedures aligned with ICT Service Management best practices.
• Establish and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (hardware, software, and licenses).
• Implement tools and technologies to automate asset management processes and improve efficiency.
• Manage the end-to-end asset lifecycle, from acquisition to decommissioning, ensuring adherence to internal protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to validate asset data accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
• Track asset usage and performance metrics to identify areas for optimisation and cost reduction.
• Ensure that the business follows the Procurement Frameworks and processes that the Technology Category Manager has put in place
Technical skills
ICT asset management, procurement and contract management. IT software management and/or IT asset management related skills. Experience in IT management, finance, procurement, or related fields. Demonstrated experience with ICT Service Management frameworks (e.g. ITIL).
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT. 12 month contract with 2x12-month extension option pending budget and delegate approval. Hybrid working arrangements will be considered
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A basesline security clearance is required.
