Senior Software Engineer
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1
Contract Length: 12 months + 2 x 12 months
Location: ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, VIC

Our government client has a requirement for a suitably skilled Senior Splunk Monitoring Engineer to join the Enterprise Monitoring team across both project and other functions within their department.
The duties performed will include:
• Technical design and documentation of Splunk Architecture requirements – noting scalability and versatility for various work areas and projects.
• Configuration and management of Splunk architecture including servers, agents, heavy forwarders, and associated cloud hosting infrastructure.
• Technical development, user configuration, and continuous improvement of Splunk services.
• Lead the onboarding of new services into Splunk ITSI including service decomposition and associated testing.
• Oversight of project documentation and vendor knowledge-based articles.
• Development and maintenance of Splunk ITSI dashboarding solutions.
• Adds, moves, and changes for existing Splunk services.
