Contract terms: 12 months with 1x 12 month extensions.

Major Responsibilities
- installing and configuring software and networks
- monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- manage network servers and technology tools
- set up accounts and workstations
- ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- upgrade of systems with new releases and models
- build an internal WIKI with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience in identifying the hardware and software system requirements for complex IT systems or Cyber Security systems.
- Experience in ensuring that system designs suitably consider function, service, quality, security, maintenance and sustainability requirements.
- Experience in integrating technology in an Enterprise, Government or Multinational system focussing on automated data transfer or Cyber Security.
- Experience in support, maintenance and enhancement of existing software ensuring application availability.
- Experience in team leadership and proven skills in planning, design, implementation hardening and maintaining one or more of the following technology domains: Linux systems administration, Cloud systems administration or Network and security administration
