Our government client is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (backfill) to establish and deploy an environment for developing, continually improving, and securely operating software and systems products and service.

Contract term: until 01/10/2025 with possible extensions.
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, candidates are required to have a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.

Major Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develops and deploys secure cloud architecture using infrastructure as code, especially Bicep and Terraform.
- Collaborates with those responsible for ongoing systems and software life cycle management to select, adopt and adapt working practices.
- Supports deployment of the working environment for systems and software life cycle working practices.
- Develops cloud service security policies and usage documentation.
- Understanding and ability to apply Information Security Manual (ISM) principles and controls.
- Familiarity with domain and technology specific security guidelines e.g. Azure Security Benchmarks and Cyber Security Architecture, DTA PROTECTED Desktop Blueprint, ISO 27000 series, NIST 800-53, OWASP Top 10.
