About the role:

Additionally, the role includes supporting team development and guiding complex contract-related inquiries and processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Contract Management:
- Build collaborative relationships with Key Industry partners
- Develop Contract Management Plans;
- Confirm commercial requirements and contract deliverables are satisfied including contract establishment artefacts such as financial guarantees, insurance and deeds;
- Undertake normal contract management activities, including payments, cost tracking, monitor deliverables and contractor reporting, manage export controls (utilising CASG or MQ- 28 standard practices),
- Manage contract and administrative registers
- Advise and/or provide guidance to business areas on the management of relationships with Contractors, attend contracted meetings, engage in proactive communications with the Contractor/Government, reviewing and issuing correspondence;
- Review/Draft Commercial aspects of documents required as part of contract management e.g. correspondence with contractors;
- Undertake Contract Health Checks and Audits as required;
- Provide Input to Project Performance Reviews, Award Term Reviews, Periodic Cost Reviews and True Up activities;
- Advise on contract amendments, including reviewing/ drafting necessary documentation;
- Coordinate specialist advice and support including, legal, technical, negotiation support and financial;
The successful candidate:
Commercial Support services have been delivered as necessary for MQ-28 to the appropriate standards and agreed service level. The outcome is demonstrated via;
- Undertake contract management activities in accordance with the CASG BMS, Commercial Policy whilst achieving the designated schedule requirement;
- Research commercial policy issues, legal investigation, technical and other requirements to support contract management outcomes;
- Demonstrate effective engagement of stakeholders and subject matter experts to facilitate outcomes (e.g. communicating effectively with areas of expertise); and
- Support mandatory policy compliance obligations and critical commercial risk and performance requirements.
- Undertake contract development activities in accordance with the CASG BMS, Commercial Policy whilst achieving the designated schedule requirement;
