The Role:
The cyber security operations team are responsible for the detection and coordination of incident response to threats, both foreign and domestic, against critical Department systems. The Department is seeking three (3) cyber security analysts to augment the existing operations team to assist in uplifting the existing capability.
The successful applicant for this role will be undertake monitoring of the Departments ICT environment and key systems to aid in identification and remediation of cyber security related incidents
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Experience using Sentinel or a similar SIEM solution is essential
2. Familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual
3. Familiarity with the best practice cyber security monitoring processes
4. Experience in cyber incident response
5. Experience in cyber security monitoring within, or for, other Federal government entities
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT. 12-month Contract with extension options till pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A NV1 security clearance is required.
