Our large private client requires a Data Migration Specialist manages all aspects of data migration from the existing on-premise CRM system to the new cloud-based CRM solution. This includes designing and implementing data pipelines, transforming data to meet the new system's requirements, and ensuring data integrity and compliance throughout the migration process. The specialist will work closely with the Project team to ensure all data migration activities align with project timelines and quality standards.
Core Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis and Mapping: Review existing data structures, databases, and models to map data from the legacy system to the target cloud environment.
• Data Model Design: Design and develop future state data structures and models to support the new system’s architecture.
• ETL Processes: Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to efficiently and securely transfer data to the cloud.
• Data Transformation and Cleansing: Perform data transformation and cleansing activities, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with departmental standards.
• Data Validation and Testing: Conduct extensive testing to validate data integrity post-migration, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare documentation on data migration processes, maintain detailed records, and provide regular reports on migration status and issues.
Location of work: Canberra ACT
Length of contract: 12 months
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of this role, we require a minimum NV1 Security Clearance.
