Office Administrator
An experienced Office Administrator is required for a busy office in Canberra. Our private sector client requires someone that has strong communication skills, is highly organised and is a natural problem solver. You will be supporting the General Manager with payroll responsibilities, reporting and rosters. No weekend work is needed.

An experienced Office Administrator is required for a busy office in Canberra. Our private sector client requires someone that has strong communication skills, is highly organised and is a natural problem solver. You will be supporting the General Manager with payroll responsibilities, reporting and rosters. No weekend work is needed.
About the role:
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager, Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, Maintenance Manager and Safety Administrator.
- Initiate and complete onboarding of new employees into TMS, including qualifications.
- Recording and maintenance of daily attendance using time management system software.
- Recording of all staff leave in the time management system.
- Maintain document and data control as per procedure.
- Carry out filing and archiving as required and in line with company policies and procedures. Maintain the archives both physical and soft copies.
- Complete data entry of all production records daily
- Create and update records and registers with personnel, finance and other data as required.
- Liaise with customers, sub-contractors, suppliers and visitors.
- Ensure assistance is provided other staff members, in particular the admin team as a whole.
- Provide solutions and ideas to assist in driving new technologies and processes within the company.
About you:
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to change.
