The SAP Technical Architect will play a pivotal role in determining, developing, and enhancing solutions aligned with both Department ITD and Business strategies for S/4 HANA implementation.
Required skills and Experience
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4 HANA architecture and implementation.
- Proficiency in Hyperscaler environments, specifically AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of the SAP RISE Platform.
- Experience with the broader SAP ecosystem, including a combination of SAP Cloud products such as BTP (Business Technology Platform), Concur, SAC, Signavio, CALM, Datasphere and Data Services.
- Excellent understanding of SAP integration and migration strategies.
- Proven experience in technical documentation and architecture design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to understand new technologies and communicate their concepts and relevance in business terms to business stakeholders, and technical terms to technology stakeholders.
- Coordination of strategic aspects of technology delivery and translate complex business drivers to contribute to tactical and strategic options.
- Developing technical designs, patterns and roadmaps, conceptual architecture, and other diagrams as required.
- Relevant certifications in SAP and cloud platforms (preferred).
- More than 15 years’ experience in all aspects of technical architecture at a senior level with a strong focus on SAP solution architecture, governance and strategy.
- 10+ years of SAP implementation/consulting experience, with a strong understanding of SAP applications, SaaS and cloud solutions, server technology, and network security.
- Experience in large scale S/4 HANA Greenfield and Brownfield migrations; both on on-premises and RISE deployment scenarios.
- Technical Architecture Knowledge: Strong understanding of technical architecture principles, frameworks, and best practices.
