Key skills and Qualifications
- Design, develop, and deploy RESTful and SOAP APIs using API Connect and related tools. Develop custom policies, microservices, and secure API gateway configurations.
- Oversee the full API lifecycle from creation to monitoring and versioning. Manage API security policies, access control, rate limiting, and error handling. Ensure proper logging and monitoring practices are followed.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to define API strategies and integration patterns. Design integration solutions for complex systems and services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Provide guidance on best practices for API design, performance optimization, and security.
