The WHS Administrator is responsible for driving a positive safety culture through the administration of the company’s safety & environmental legislative compliance requirements. Maintaining a high standard of workplace health and safety through the ongoing development, maintenance and implementation of the company WHS Management system, which enables us to meet our WHS legislative compliance. Handling all safety matters on site in collaboration with relevant leading hands, supervisors or managers and assisting them to achieve a safe workplace.

Handling all safety matters on site in collaboration with relevant leading hands, supervisors or managers and assisting them to achieve a safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and manage injury cases
- Provide support to the Operations Manager, Office Administrator, Weighbridge Admin and Maintenance Manager.
- Collaborate with managers, supervisors, or leading hands to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
- Reviewing and/or writing up SWMS, procedures and forms
Skills:
- Excellent outlook, word & excel skills
- Good communication skills, both written & verbal
- Excellent organisational & prioritisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to change
Certifications and Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health & Safety Technologist (OHST) are highly advantageous
- A qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. WHS, Quality Management Systems)
Experience:
- Demonstrated WHS experience within a complex organisation with high-risk areas
- Experience in writing reports, policies and procedures
- Familiarity with quality systems
